Give2TheTroops coordinates care packages and sends them to U.S. service men and women deployed to combat and disaster-relief zones around the world. Customers and members of the community joined Estes employees across the nation in donating small, inexpensive items to be included in those care packages. In all, over 13,000 pounds of care package items were collected nationwide and delivered to three regional locations for distribution to the troops in time for Christmas.

As a tribute to all of the soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines who have given their lives to preserve our nation's freedoms, Estes also supported Wreaths Across America (WAA). Every December, WAA coordinates the laying of thousands of live evergreen holiday wreaths on gravesites to honor fallen veterans at more than 600 cemeteries nationwide. This past year, Estes donated wreaths to WAA as well as delivered 12,096 wreaths to 26 locations throughout the United States.

These community efforts—as captured in this short video—spring from a genuine gratitude for the sacrifices made by America’s men and women in uniform. Expressing that gratitude through outreach opportunities such as these represents a small though important way we can Encourage the Living, Honor the Fallen.
